Who this notice covers
This notice describes how SimplerEmail processes information when you visit simpleremail.com, create an account, or connect a domain and mailbox. The service is in early access; some email and billing features are not yet available.
Account and Google sign-in
We store your account name, email address, verification status, and sign-in records to operate and protect your account. Password sign-in uses a password hash. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your basic profile and email address; authentication records may include OAuth tokens. Google sign-in does not grant SimplerEmail access to your Gmail inbox or permission to send Gmail messages.
Domains and email
We store connected domain names, DNS verification information, mailbox addresses, and your confirmed forwarding destination. When you enable supported mail features, we process message headers, sender and recipient addresses, subjects, message content, conversation history, delivery records, and replies to receive, display, forward, and send your mail. Do not connect a mailbox unless you are authorized to process its messages.
Service providers
We use Vercel for hosting, Neon for the application database, Postmark for email processing, and Google for optional sign-in and public-page analytics. These providers process information needed for their services and may process it in countries outside your own. Paid plans are not currently enabled; any future payment collection will be described before checkout.
Cookies and public-page analytics
Session cookies keep you signed in. When Google Analytics is enabled, it may use cookies and device or network information to measure visits to selected public pages. We remove query strings and fragments from the page addresses we send and reduce referring addresses to the website origin. We do not send mailbox contents, email addresses, workspace identifiers, or verification links to Analytics. Analytics is disabled on private workspace and account-recovery pages; advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our integration. You can block analytics cookies or scripts in your browser.
Retention and your choices
Account and message records are retained while needed to provide the service, maintain security, and investigate delivery problems. You can stop mail processing by disconnecting or deactivating the mailbox. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account and stored messages, contact the address below. We review requests manually; provider logs and backups may remain for their retention periods. We do not sell your account information or message contents.
