Business email addresses on domains you own

Create a business email address on a domain you own. Connect 10 domains free and forward their mail to one verified main inbox.

What a business email address is

A business email address uses a domain you control, such as support@yourproduct.com, instead of a personal provider’s domain. It gives customers a contact that belongs to the product they are using. A personal @gmail.com address can work for private conversations, but it does not show which business is responsible when you operate several products. Using your own domain also lets you keep the published contact name when your workflow changes. The address alone does not guarantee trust or delivery: publish it clearly, protect the account and test the receiving and reply paths. SimplerEmail focuses on product addresses and a central workspace for the person managing them.

Bring a domain you own

To make a business email address, first register a domain separately or use one you already own. SimplerEmail does not sell domains or include registration and renewal fees. You need access to the authoritative DNS settings, which may be hosted somewhere other than the registrar. Add the displayed ownership TXT record, verify it and publish the email setup records for receiving and authenticated sending. The setup page supplies the actual MX, DKIM and return-path values. Keep your website records in place. Changing MX affects every address on that domain, not just the new support address, so inventory existing mailboxes and plan their migration. Choosing an email domain for business is therefore also a routing decision: test a quiet domain or subdomain before moving active customer contacts.

One address per product, one inbox for you

Use support@ for questions about a product, hello@ for introductions and billing@ for invoices if those names fit your work. After domain activation, add named addresses within the per-domain limit. Each address keeps its product identity in the workspace; accepting mail for several brands does not mean mixing their sending identities. Optional forwarding sends a copy to one verified main inbox you already use. It starts off, so complete destination verification and enable it deliberately. Read the original recipient before replying, and use the supported website reply path for a branded response. Forwarding does not give Gmail or Outlook permission to send from your domain. A custom business email workflow should keep the product visible from the first message through the final reply.

What is included

The free plan connects 10 domains sharing 100 email operations per UTC calendar month. Receiving one clean message, forwarding it once and replying once uses three operations: 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. Spam identified and quarantined by the receiving system does not consume this allowance. The same exemption applies to quarantined virus and mail-loop verdicts. Manually changing a category label does not change usage. Quarantined messages are not forwarded and cannot be replied to; storage and attachment limits still apply. At the monthly limit, catch-all rejects new clean mail to unlisted addresses without saving it, while quarantined spam can still be saved within storage limits. Starter provides 100 domains and 1,000 operations for $4.99/month or $39/year; Pro provides 200 domains and 10,000 operations for $9.99/month or $79/year. All product domains share the same workspace allowance. Check combined usage before upgrading: adding another quiet product does not create another pool of operations.

What this is not

SimplerEmail is not full mailbox hosting for a staff directory. It does not provide IMAP/POP3 access, calendars, native Gmail labels or AI analysis. Workspace labels are internal organization, not Gmail features. Google sign-in identifies your account; it does not grant access to your Gmail inbox. This service is for ordinary product conversations, not bulk campaigns, mailing lists or unsolicited outreach. We do not promise delivery timing or a delivery-rate SLA. External providers, DNS caches and recipient filtering affect what arrives. Mail content and delivery records are processed and stored to operate the service; do not interpret forwarding as zero retention. If your work email address must support a private employee mailbox, a calendar and a desktop mail client, compare full hosting before deciding.

FAQ

How is this different from Google Workspace?

Google Workspace is a broader hosted productivity suite. SimplerEmail centers on addresses for your own product domains, optional forwarding to a verified main inbox and branded website replies. Choose according to the features you need; it does not replace IMAP access, calendars or private mailboxes for every employee.

Can I receive verification and password-reset emails?

Yes, as ordinary incoming mail when the domain and recipient route are active. The sender must accept the address and delivery must succeed. Test the actual third-party account before relying on it, and keep an alternative recovery method. We do not guarantee delivery timing or acceptance by every website.

Will changing my main inbox lose existing messages?

Changing the forwarding destination does not move or delete the messages already saved in the workspace. Verify the new inbox before relying on forwarding and test a new message. Copies already delivered to the old inbox remain there; changing the setting does not automatically resend the history.

Is the free plan enough?

It can fit a small portfolio with light mail volume: 10 domains share 100 operations per UTC month. A received message with one forward and one reply uses three. Estimate all products together and leave room for follow-up replies, rather than dividing the allowance as if each domain had its own pool.

Do I need a technical background?

You need access to DNS and the ability to copy the exact records shown in setup. Follow the domain guide, check existing MX records and use the DNS checker. If your registrar locks records, ask its support how to edit the authoritative zone before changing live mail routing.

How are paid plans billed?

Starter costs $4.99/month or $39/year; Pro costs $9.99/month or $79/year. Stripe handles checkout and the customer portal for subscription management. Review the plan, billing period and amount at checkout. The yearly figure is the total annual charge, and domain registration remains a separate purchase.
